Sleep Routines

Rabbits, on the other hand, are not nocturnal species. This indicates that they are active during dawn and dusk. When a hedgehog wakes up or goes to bed, rabbits are asleep and this means putting them in the same cage would disrupt their sleep patterns which is not going to make them comfortable. Veterinary appointments should be considered when purchasing a rabbit. Determine your proximity to a small animal veterinarian. Some illnesses/conditions can come at any time and some veterinary hospitals will not treat rabbits because they are so difficult delicate and sensitive. Behavior
Rabbits are extremely sociable and clever. They like playing and are quite entertaining. They are sociable creatures who love being near other rabbits, as opposed to hedgehogs, which are solitary animals that only prefer being with other hedgehogs during mating season.

Rabbits and hedgehogs can sometimes play in the same room only if they are supervised. Hedgehogs and rabbits, on the other hand, should never share a cage.
